What is FiberCare?

FiberCare is an invisible, long-lasting finish that protects against spots, stains and spills. FiberCare works by impregnating fibers with co-polymer resins in a mineral spirit base. This means dust and dirt can’t get trapped within the fiber.

How Do We Clean?

The best way to clean is with water. If your fabric can be wet cleaned that is how we will clean it. First we will vacuum, then we will pre-spray spots to loosen that particular type of stain.

To dry clean furnishings we pre-spray in small areas with the dry cleaning solvent, we employ several different techniques to remove spots and heavily soiled areas.

Flameproofing

Our state of the art chemical formulations and application techniques are environmentally safe, non-toxic and solvent dry cleanable. Certificate of flame repellant furnished with every paid order.

Stain Repellent

FiberCare can be applied to all fibers, even those that have been temporarily protected with mill level finishes such as Scotchguard or Teflon. FiberCare protects against both oil-based and water-based stains.

Lamination

A soft, protective, transparent vinyl film is laminated to the face of the fabric, this protects fabric from staining. With laminated fabric, spills clean up easily with a damp cloth.

Mildew Guard

This provides a mildew inhibitor and fungicide for fabrics exposed to damp climates.

Acrylic Backing

Acrylic Backing is an acrylic coating applied to the backside of fabrics. This backing increases the life and durability of the fabric by 50-100%. Acrylic backing stops seam slippage, prevents unraveling and adds dimensional stability.

FiberCare Cleaning Fine Furniture and Carpeting in Dallas, Texas

“My decorator recommended FiberCare and The Cleaning Company to me several years ago, so my expectations for their quality of work was high from the outset. What I did not know initially was that their customer service and follow through are equally as pleasing. Last week they shampooed wall-to-wall carpets in 5 rooms, a staircase and hallway with amazing results. The workers were professional, polite and very capable. When it comes to care and cleaning of fine furniture and carpeting, FiberCare and The Cleaning Company is a winner!”.

The Cleaning Company: People often ask us how do we clean? How do we clean carpet, how do we clean upholstery, how do we clean rugs and draperies? I find myself going into a big explanation that probably doesn’t even give my customer the most important piece of information they should know.

We clean your furnishings conscientiously. We are not in a hurry. We care about the results. We want to be proud of our work. We want to you to be satisfied. We want you as a repeat customer and most of our business is repeat customers. For those of you who like details I’ll give you a brief description of how we clean.

Wet Cleaning:

The best way to clean is with water. If your fabric can be wet cleaned that is how we will clean it. First we will vacuum, then we will pre-spray spots to loosen that particular type of stain. Then we will spray the entire piece of furniture with a live enzyme that has a soil releasing agent, then we will rinse the furniture with a special additive. This additive “invites” or “attracts” the soil to it, taking or transferring the soil from your furniture into itself and out of your fabric. The rinse water is not recycled, and your furniture is left nearly dry. We use the same wet method for cleaning carpeting.

Dry Cleaning:

Dry cleaning means don’t use water, use dry cleaning solvent. The unfortunate problem is, that most everyday spots do not release with solvent cleaners. To dry clean furnishings we pre-spray in small areas with the dry cleaning solvent, we employ several different techniques to remove spots and heavily soiled areas. Then we vacuum out the solvent cleaner and repeat on the next area. Silk draperies are cleaned this way, by hand, each spot given individual and detailed attention.

FiberCare Fabric Drapery Cleaning Service and Fabric Window Treatment Tips

Your windows, and the blinds on your windows, are one of the first things visitors notice when they arrive at your home. We can help you impress your visitors by keeping the blinds clean.

Are you interested in creating a new look in one or more rooms in your home? Let us show you how new blinds on windows can drastically change the decor in a room.

Do you have plenty of windows in the rooms where family members work or watch television? Reduce the amount of glare in the room by installing window blinds.

Have you ever noticed that fabric window treatments, such as drapes, retain the smell of foods and other odors in your home? Let us install new blinds, which do not absorb the odors in your home.

Window blinds are much more flexible than other window treatments, such as drapes. With cord or wand controls, you can cover all or part of the window and let in some or all of the sunlight with ease.

One of the problems with trying to clean your blinds yourself is that you can inadvertently damage them with harsh cleaners and/or cleaning methods. Our team of professionals will restore your blinds to like-new condition with no scratching, pitting, or other damage.
