Designer Jan Showers relied on Robert Allen Custom Furniture for her one-of-a-kind design. With the sophisticated yet stylish Tate chair as her canvas, she chose to make it her own with Shifted Stripe in Blush by DwellStudio for Robert Allen @ Home and added accenting welting with Wool Sateen in Lambswool by Beacon Hill.
“I love this simple pattern on this stylish chair. It would work in any interior and make such a chic statement.”

Dorian Bahr Company, Inc. started in the textiles industry in 1994, selling fabrics by the bolt to the interior design industry.
In 1996, we developed a cut yardage program. In 1998, we started our focus on building a new, exclusive and more innovative product line. By 2000, we were approaching showrooms to represent our exclusive line of textiles, while continuing to develop exclusive items for the high-end market.
We consider ourselves a “boutique textiles brand,” offering fabrics with sophisticated, restrained colors and textures. 1998 was the year we opened our first Dorian Bahr Showrooms, another boutique collection offering furniture, fabrics, lighting, wall-coverings, art and accessories.
We have showrooms and representatives exclusively representing our brand throughout the United States, offering a spectacular range of products.
Balance in design is the visual equilibrium that is achieved by reconciling opposing forces in a composition. There are there are two primary ways to achieve this: symmetrical balance and asymmetrical balance.
Symmetrical balance is also called formal balance, because a form (formula) is used — a mirror image about a vertical axis. Use symmetrical balance to create formal, organized and orderly looks.
ABOUT DESIGNER BED SERIES
LONG ON TRADITION Saying please. Writing thank you notes. Insisting on a home that’s both beautiful and meaningful. Peacock Alley believes in tradition. And when you spend four decades creating luxurious bedding and bath linens, you create a tradition all your own.
That’s just what Peacock Alley founder Mary Ella Gabler did.
It began in 1973 when she sold 250 patchwork pillows to Neiman Marcus for its storied Fortnight celebration. She chose the perfect name for her new company: Peacock Alley.
By sourcing fabric from the finest, most responsible mills around the world – most notably in Portugal – and having them sewn in our Dallas, Texas workshop by skilled, local artisans, Gabler created a line of high end, luxury linens that you can feel good about purchasing. And they are sure to feel good in return. That’s what we call returning the favor…
Margaret Chambers and her team are able to achieve the exact looks that her clients envision for their homes and offices. She has more than 60,000 hours of interior design career experience to her credit, and her work has been published in more than 20 industry magazines, including Southern Home, Traditional Home, and Better Homes & Gardens.
Chambers’ experience, innate talent, and studies of the classics of Europe enable her to confidently mix different styles, techniques, and cultures. Her work has earned her state and national awards from the American Society of Interior Designers, and she has been named a Best Designer in Dallas by D Home magazine for ten years and running.
Sought after by clients who understand the value of superior professional design, Chambers and her team at Chambers Interiors & Associates, Inc. are beloved by clients for the spirit of collaboration that they bring to each project and their willingness to share in the creative process, not control it.
With her team at Chambers Interiors, Margaret has worked on projects in locations across North Texas, including Dallas, University Park, Highland Park, Preston Hollow, and other areas. Her residential work has spanned a wide variety of styles – from modern high-rise living to charming Hill Country escapes to elegant Country French homes.
Meet and greet Margaret Chambers Feb. 23rd 4:30-7:00PM

Not only is our founder an entrepreneur, she’s also a best-selling author. In 2013, Gabler released her autobiography, which chronicles her rise to prominence from shattering the glass ceiling in the male-dominated halls of Wall Street to establishing the luxury linen market in the US. And thanks to her business savvy and trademark sophistication, she has also become a sought-after speaker. True to form, Gabler weaves one interesting story after another.
